Strategy

Sustainability is a long-term business approach, and, supported by a strategic plan, can help your company deliver better results for society and the planet as well as for the business.

Developing a sustainability strategy is a first step. It might sound straightforward, but, in fact, sustainability strategy discussions can be some of the toughest in the business. This is because managers often find themselves addressing issues from different perspectives that include feedback and expectations of stakeholders. Similarly, the longer-term nature of a strategic approach can be risky, as not all the tools to track and measure performance are available. Whatever the challenges, we can help. We love to simplify strategy so that it is focused, uncluttered and meaningful to internal and external stakeholders.

Sustainability Strategy Case Studies

Sustainability Strategy:  Netafim

We worked with global irrigation pioneer Netafim to develop a first-ever global corporate, multi-year sustainability strategy to 2020.  Sustainability at Netafim is very much about core business, so defining a strategy that both aligned with, and complemented existing practice was a challenge. The strategy was published in the Netafim 2013 Sustainability Report.

Sustainability Strategy: Strauss Group

In 2013/2014, we worked with international food company Strauss Group to develop a first-ever global corporate, multi-year sustainability strategy to 2020. Strauss Group is made up of five different companies, and creating a strategy to encompass five different businesses was something of a new challenge. The strategy was published in the Strauss Group 2013 Sustainability Report in mid-2014.
